Tim Smith Racing Joins

The Toyz is proud to welcome Tim Smith to Toyz Team Racing.
Tim has been into RC’s for more then 20 years competing in Oval, Drag Racing (his personal favorite) and he currently holds the record for the fastest RC car in the world clocking in at 167.8MPH.

Listed are a few racing highlights from his R/C career:

Drag racing:

  • 1990 IEDA/MHRA points champion in top fuel electric dragster.
  • 1991 Insane Speed Run: First car to average over 70 mph for four laps. I only held this record for about two hours until Kent Clausen broke it with a 72 mph average later in the evening.
